Sage for Growers
Where your market manager has switched it on, Sage sits in the footer of your market's pages and knows your week. It only ever sees your own farm's data and your own buyers — never another grower's, never the market's books.
Don't see it? Sage for growers is off until your market manager turns it
on. Ask them — it's one switch in the Sage Assistant section of their admin page.
Your week
- "What do I need to bring this week?" — your harvest list for the open cycle: each product and how much has been ordered.
- "How much kale has been ordered?"
- "Which of my items are sold out?" — your listings, with what's left of each.
- "When does ordering close?" and "When is pickup?" — the market's schedule and details, straight from the market's own pages.
Your sales and buyers
- "How did I do last month?" — your sales by product for a period.
- "Who ordered my salad mix last week?" — your own buyers for a product. Customers order from you, so this is yours to see.
- "What's my balance?" — what the market owes you or you owe it.
- "What did I order recently?" — your own shopping, if you also buy from the market.
How things work
- "How do I put my farm in vacation mode?"
- "How do I add my partner to our farm account?"
- "Why can't I see the Add Product button?"
- Any other how-to: Sage answers from this documentation and links the page.
What Sage will never do
- Change anything. It can't edit your listings, update your availability, or send anything. Ask and it tells you where to do it.
- Show you anyone else's data. Other growers' sales, the market's finances, and customers who didn't buy from you are not yours to see, and Sage will say so.
- Invent numbers. If a lookup can't answer, it says that instead of guessing.
