Again this week, we don’t have enough to have the full market open. However, we do have two products to offer. There’s plenty of okra, and we also have a limited number of chicken and duck eggs. We won’t be at the Clarksville farmers’ market this weekend, but we’ll make other arrangements to get your order to you.

We’re filling our Fall Season slots now for class visits to Icebox Urban Farm. Using STEM-based curriculum from LifeLab, we offer service-learning opportunities for your school-age students on this city farm in downtown Augusta. Thursday mornings, starting in September. There’s always something creative and fun to work on at this campus, dedicated to school group education. We’ll also be installing more free raised beds at individual homes in the community of Harrisburg! Join our volunteer groups from 9am-1pm. And yes! SUN, SEPT 25 — THREE FARM TOUR & PROGRESSIVE FARM DINNER
We’re very excited to announce another “Three Farm Tour & Progressive Farm Dinner!” This time we’re focusing on the Aiken area. Meet the good folks at Pascalina Farm for soup and salad; Good Earth Farm for meat stew; and Trail Ridge Goat Dairy for dessert. Tickets are on sale now through our on-line market! $20 each. 1p-5:30p. A limited 25 tickets will be available. Buy now! This is a very popular event.

SAT, OCT 1 – MICROBIAL MAKEOVER WITH ICEBOX FARM
Icebox Farm has just announced a fascinating, full-day workshop called “Microbial Makeover,” held at the Savannah Rapids Pavilion in Evans. In this hands-on workshop, you and your friends will find out what microbiota and microbiomes are, where they come from, and how we interact with them in ways that affect our health. Expert facilitators are Dr. Steve Fountain, MD, PhD, and Tasha Alison, of Icebox Farm. Visit the event’s new website at microbialmakeover.com. to register. Join us as we partner with the Clubhou.se in downtown Augusta to explore ways in which sustainability and technology intersect to improve our local food system overall. Partake in an intellectually satisfying, gastronomically-elegant, farm-to-table meal created by the dynamic duo of Chef Charleen Tinley and Chef Jonathan Marks, formerly of the Roosters Beak. Learn about the intersection of microbes and wellness from speaker Dr. Steve Fountain. We’ll kick it all off with a competitive Good Food Hack-A-Thon the night before! Looking for sponsors now! Gwinnett Locally Grown:  Market Closed this Week - We're moving to Fridays!!!


We’ve had multiple requests for the market to move to Friday, and we listened.
We have a few logistical things that need to be ironed out first but are excited to better serve you. We will roll out the details soon on Friday deliveries.
