Yes, it’s today!! And, I know you are wondering, well…how can I shop small business Saturday when the market closes on Tuesday, and I don’t get my product until Thursday…

But, have you considered getting unique Christmas gifts, right here, from our market?? The local gifts of love??

Some ideas…some of our vendors are offering gift sets, holiday specials, or even Champaign Locally Grown gift certificates to give!

To give the gift of fresh, local food, there are the gift certificates that you can email me to order, and you can pay at the front desk of the YMCA! Just like paying for an order at pick up!!

PICKUP TIME is Wednesday from 5-6:30pm!

Thank you for choosing Northeast Georgia Locally Grown as a way to support your local producers. This online farmers market allows you to buy directly from multiple farms committed to chemical-free and local produce all year long! CHEMICAL-FREE means produce and pastures grown without synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides. LOCAL means within 80 miles from the market pickup locations (usually much much closer). Do you know someone who grows chemical-free food in the area? Get them in touch with us. Know someone who wants fresh food? Spread the word. Put the two together, and that’s growing organically!

Dothan, Alabama:  Market At Dothan Christmas Open House Edition

OPEN HOUSE IS HERE!

Order Pickup is on Thursday this Week!

We hope you are as excited about Open House as we are! Our vendors have been working hard in preparation for Open House next Thursday, December 1. For anyone not familiar with this event, twice a year Dothan Nurseries hosts an Open House and our Market at Dothan vendors come together for an old fashioned Farmer’s Market complete with tents, farmers, food, festivities, good company, good conversation, and lots of fun. It’s a good opportunity to stock up for the holiday season as well as shop and meet and/or renew contacts with your market vendors. A few guest vendors there as well. I have it on good faith there will be yummy samples, baked goods, and gift items in addition to local, fresh sustainable food. Bring the family. Bring a few market bags for shopping. You can even bring well behaved pets on a leash.

Carrell Farms & Buffalo Gal (REPEAT)

Carrell Farms & Buffalo Gal are back on the market!

They took their items off temporarily to figure out the logistics of getting their items to us and other markets without taking too much time away from the farm. I’m so glad to we are able to find a way to continue to work with Carrell Farms to provide the market Pasture Raised Water Buffalo, Lamb, and Alpaca!

The solution we worked out is this: allow members to order each week but Carrell Farms will deliver to our market once per month ( the 2nd week of each month). Next delivery is December 13th .

Buffalo Gal items will also be available and be shipped directly to your address and/or we will have table sales items available at pick up.
Check out their new seasonal body butters scented with essential oils – Chai Spice, Pumpkin Spice Latte, and Mocha Latte in addition to their entire line of products.
