Wedge Oak Farm:  Winter is not over yet!

So you need some good quality meat and eggs to warm up with!
Here at Wedge Oak Farm we are just as anxious as everyone else for Springtime sunshine with birds singing and the newborn calves playing in green pastures. Alas, we still have these few odd cold snaps to weather before that time settles in.
To celebrate St. Patrick’s Day we came up with our version of traditional Banger Artisan Link Sausages. Upon our taste testing, the kitchen crew unanimously agreed that they were a hit! We think your family will agree!
We also have the following Artisan Link Sausages:
Bacon Cheddar Chives
Honey Pig
Chica
Korean Ginger
Chorizo
Brats
Foxfire
Spring Onion
Mild Chicken Italian
Nashville Hot Chicken

We are also stocked with plenty of pasture-raised meats and eggs so please feel free to order online and pick up this Saturday at the Richland Park Farmers’ Market from 10:00-12:00.

Connie's Cornucopia:  Something Special

We are now offering something special. In the spirit of being Local, a customer of ours has authored & published a delightful Children’s Book about a young girl who discovers nature though a magnifying glass. This is a great resource for children ages 4-8! Take a look under the “Books” category in the Market. In addition, you can choose an autographed copy that comes with a magnifying glass and activity sheets. Simply add this option to your cart in addition to the book you selected. Activity sheets are available in both digital and print options. This book would make a wonderful addition to Easter baskets!

Lathemtown Farm Fresh Market:  This Week at the Market

Back to the chilly temps this week! UGH! I’m just praying we don’t get the hard freeze they’re predicting! The fruit trees and blueberry bushes may not produce this year if they lose all those fruit buds.
At least there are some beautiful sunny skies coming so we can get out and enjoy that :)
Many of you ordered Ga Victory Gardens Pickled Veggies last week. Michael, their creator, would appreciate some feedback! We all love reviews, so drop one on our Facebook page or leave one in the comments of your order.
We have a few St Patrick’s Day items this week. Since it falls on a Friday, let me know if you would like to pick up on Friday (after 3pm).
We will be doing the Easter Lamb Cakes again this year. Next week I will add them to the market for pre-orders.
Have a great week!
