This week’s market day is also the first day of Spring! Spring has definitely sprung here in the River Valley and we are looking forward to warmer weather produce from our growers! This week is the last week until fall that apples from Drewry Farm and Orchard will be available… Stock up on the last of this crop while we look forward to the opening of Drewry’s The Family Table or Front Porch Breakfast! If you haven’t been, it’s a great and tasty experience! It’s great weather for grilling…. make sure to get some smoked salt with peppercorns from McAnulty Mercantile and shop our amazing selection of local meats for your favorite cuts! Dried or fresh mushrooms from The Fortunate Mushroom are a great (and healthy) addition to your meals as are B&B Legacy’s high-protein soybeans! Easter is almost here, and we certainly have plenty of beautiful eggs for all your needs! Many of them are so pretty already they don’t need dye! Our baked goods category is off-the-chart with amazing breads of all kinds, but the cookie selection is pretty fantastic, too! From Cecelia and Otis’ vegan options to Kaitlyn’s filled cookies to old fashioned favorites from Pleasant View or Isn’t she Sweet and sourdough cookies from Victoria’s Little Bread House or Maple Brook Bakery, there is definitely a cookie for every occasion! “Spring” into action and get your amazing and fresh local groceries at RCM!

If you ordered milk WITHOUT deposit, don’t forget to bring your RINSED bottles (no caps needed) thanks :)

You can pick up your order starting at 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church at 925 Mitchell Street in Conway. You are welcome to come in and sit down in the lobby if you are early, but we may not be able to check you out until 3pm.

Please NOTE: the church parking lot may be full between 315p and 345p when the Junior High lets out and kids are getting picked up.

If something comes up that you cannot personally pick up your order today, please contact someone to pick it up for you.

Remember to bring your reusable market bags. Reduce, reuse, recycle! See you this afternoon!

It’s Thursday evening, another market pick up has come and gone, and now it’s time to reopen for the weekly orders!!

I have returned from vacation, and am back to baking with a limited menu, for a few weeks!! I will have certain items, available, because as you all may remember that this time, last year, I had my skin cancer surgery on my lip, and was out for some time, during recovery.

Well, sad to report that my poor face will need to go into another treatment, for a couple of weeks, to treat my entire face of more cells….not looking forward to it, and am not sure how I will be feeling with it all, so I am baking in a limited way, just because I love you all so very much!!

You will see all that I have to offer, when you log on to order!!

AND…drumroll…your favorite Pulled Pork is now back from Oakview Farm Meats!! That is an item that goes fast, so order up, and order to stock your freezers!!

Foothills Market:  Market Reminder

Foothills Market will be open to accept orders through 5:00 p.m. today. Place your order, and we’ll have your items ready for pickup tomorrow afternoon.

Grumpy Goat:  Eggs for Easter!!!!

We have a plethora of eggs this week and the chickens are laying well so if you need eggs for your upcoming Easter brunch’s time to stock up!

We also have some spinach listed this week along with our mixed kale bags. These would be great for a salad or cooked in a quiche with your eggs!!!!

You can find us this week for in person shopping at the Halls of Hanover Spring Market in Minster , Saturday 9-12. We will be breaking out the first goatmilk soap of the year for this market.

Next weekend , Saturday March 23rd you can find us in Bowling Green for the Black Swamp Spinners Guild Market Day. For anyone who wants anything fiber related that will be the place to be!

We still haven’t set our official date for the reopening of the farm store for in person shopping but we have slowly been putting things back in. We are thinking mid April probably!
