Champaign, OH:  Hey, Hey!!

It’s that time of the week, again!! Tuesday evening finds us with two hours until market closing time!

I would like to thank all of you who came out to support me, my ribbon cutting, the weekend Holiday Open House, and just the downtown, in general.

To have so many of your faces, in and out of my shop, all weekend, filled me with so much love!

Let’s do one more thing that fills me with love…let’s get those orders in!!! That fills me with love, smiles, good cheer, and then I can fall asleep, happy, after the market closes.

Go, order, be done for the week…

Peace, Love, Good Vibes…

Plattsburgh Online Ordering:  Plattsburgh Winter Farmers Market

We have been missing a lot of loyal customers at the Saturday Plattsburgh Winter Farmers Market this fall. It is from 10 to NOON at the City Gym, 52 US Oval, as before.

A couple of folks have asked, saying they don’t get emails about it like they used to. We scratched out heads, because several of us have e-newsletters we send out.

Because only 5 or 6 folks were using the online ordering system, 95% of the items ordered were from one farmer, and it takes more time and space to bring pre-packed orders we decided to not offer the online ordering this year. That means we have not sent out this blog (email). Is this the missing email list??? Is this why you haven’t been at the market?

If so, please respond to this and let us know. And come to the market Saturday! Thank you.

ALFN Local Food Club:  Market Reminder

Greetings ALFN Members,

Remember to complete your orders on the market before noon tomorrow. There is still plenty of produce available, so seize the moment. Please note a few announcements below regarding the market and other neighborhood events.

1. Barnhill Orchards have fresh strawberries on the market this week. Check them out in the fruit section of the market.

2. Tammy Sue’s Critters will be hosting a farm Christmas Open House on November 28th from 10:00-2:00. The farm will be decked out in festivities, an outdoor crackling fire will be blazing, and the critters will be caroling with excitement. What a great opportunity to meet all the sentient individuals who make and prepare some of our products on the market! Tammy Sue’s Critters Farm is located at 4 Cheyenne Tr. in North Little Rock.

3. CANAS is hosting another food workshop this week! Angela Gardner with The Root will conduct a class at the Little Rock Urban Farm on Thursday. Check out their website for more information, or you can directly register here.

Obviously there is quite a bit fermenting, percolating and budding in our foodshed this week!

Sincerely,

Kyle Holton

We can make you a gift certificate in any denomination. This Thanksgiving or Christmas, give the gift of great local products!

Thanks for your orders last week! Please encourage your local friends and family to shop at our year-round market and support local farmers!

Blessings,
Linda
