Champaign, OH:  Morning Has Broken

Morning has broken like the first morning…
Blackbird has spoken like the first bird….
Praise for the singing…
Praise for the morning…
Praise for them springing fresh from the world…
(Morning Has Broken-Cat Stevens)

Well, morning has definitely broken, I am sure it will be a groovy kind of day, and a perfect day to get your market orders in!

The market will close, this evening, at 10pm!! Don’t miss out on the market goodness, the chance to support all things local, and the amazing feeling you will get when you pick up your orders from the friendly faces of your market managers, instead of fighting the crowds at the grocery.

Go ahead…thank me always…order!

Peace, Love, Good Vibes…
Cosmic Pam

Old99Farm Market:  Old 99 Farm, week of Dec 6 2015

Yes I did not put a title on this graphic for a reason; can you figure its meaning? clue: from a COP21 Climate Summit observer about the progress being made in Paris.

Continuing above normal temperatures and lack of precipitation are projected into December. Good for greens growing in the greenhouse. Kazlyn even has some tomato seedlings started!

Good selection of greens: kale, collards, lettuces, mixed greens, mizuna, arugula, and root crops: carrots, potatoes, sweet potato. Also lots of squash and apples. Still good selection of meats; chicken, goose, duck, beef, pork and lamb.

We’re offering eggs special price: Three dozen for price of two, works out to $4.50 a dozen. Can’t beat that for organic free range happy chicken eggs.

Our international guest, Tangey Troadec arrived on Thurs last for three weeks, from Nantes France.

Healthy eating,
Ian, Cami and Kazlyn

GFM :  Vendor Introduction

One of our newer online vendors is Cherie’s Crochet and Soap Shoppe.
Cherie specializes in homemade natural soaps, many with fresh goat milk from her own goats. Most of her soaps are 100% natural, using only vegetable-based ingredients (no lard). A few of her soaps use synthetic scents, and therefore are not labelled as 100% natural. She uses no artificial colors in her soaps.
Cherie is also a talented crochet artist. She makes unique items for the home, such as the popular “wiggle” trivets; gifts for babies such as animal-topped “Lovies”; hats; stuffed animals that are BABY SAFE; and afghans and lap robes of all sizes. She will custom-make any of her offerings, changing sizes, colors, etc., at no additional charge.
Her prices are very reasonable, many times less than found elsewhere online.

Be sure to check out the items she has for sale, for your special “someone.”

Conyers Locally Grown:  Available for Friday December 11

Hello, I hope this finds you all doing well. The market is open and ready for orders.
We will be open next week as well but closed the following two for Christmas and New Years. We will reopen for our regularly scheduled market on January 8.

We have lots of goodies for you to enjoy. I will be picking up our pigs from the processor this week so order up. We should have lots of everything including bacon, sausage, chops and more. It would be a great time to order up a Christmas hog share for friends and family.

We will see you on Friday between 5-7 at Copy Central on Parker road.

Thank you,
Brady
