Dill Beer Bread

<p>I made this quick bread out of curiosity. As it turns out, it&#8217;s pretty good. It can be made with or without the beer but the beer adds that hop smell and taste that beer lovers enjoy.</p>

Serves: 1 loaf
Vegetarian!

Ingredients
3 cups self rising flour
3 Tablespoons sugar
2 Tablespoons Slow Dog Dill
12 ounces beer OR plain seltzer water
1/2 cup melted butter

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a loaf pan. Combine flour, sugar and dill. Add beer (or seltzer) mixing until just combined. Batter will be lumpy.
  2. Pour batter into loaf pan. Drizzle 1/3 of the melted butter over batter. Bake for 40 minutes, then pur another 1/3 of the melted butter over the bread. Bake for 10 minutes more and pour the remaining butter over the bread. Bake for 10 minutes more and remove from oven.
  3. Cool for at least 40 minutes before slicing.
