Serves: 16 cups of kombucha
Step by Step Instructions
- Brew 1 gallon of sweet tea using all 8 tea bags and 1 cup of sugar. Let cool to room temperature then transfer to glass container(s).
- Add your starter tea and SCOBY. Cover loosly with cloth or paper towel to keep out bugs yet allow it to breathe. Let sit, undisturbed, at room temperature for 7-14 days until desired flavor is reached.
- Strain out scoby. Add fruit or other flavors. Enjoy :) *Remember to reserve 1 cup of unflavored kombucha to start your next batch.
