Country-Style Cole Slaw

<p>A classic recipe, updated for vegan tastes &#8212; if it&#8217;s not in your recipe files or on your table yet, it&#8217;s time to fix that, using delicious Locally Grown vegetables!</p>

Serves: 4 cups

1/2 cup traditional mayonnaise or Veganaise
2 T. sugar
2 T. cider vinegar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/8 tsp. celery seeds
4 cups coarsely shredded cabbage
3/4 cup coarsely shredded carrots
1/2 cup diced green pepper
2 T. sliced green onions

Step by Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, stir together the first 6 ingredients.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, and toss to coat well.
  3. Cover and chill for at least two hours so flavors can mix well.
