Step by Step Instructions
- Make a strong herbal infusion: choose favorite herb (lavender, rose, lemon balm, lemon verbena, rosemary, nettles, etc). Bring 1 qt of water to a boil then pour it over 1/2 to 1 oz of fresh or dried herbs. Allow to infuse to 1 hr or more, then strain out the herbs.
- Juice the lemons.
- In a gallon container, add the herbal infusion, lemon juice and honey (or other sweetener) and stir to dissolve the honey (it helps if the infusion is still warm).
- When the honey is dissolved, add the remaining water and refrigerate. Enjoy!
