Step by Step Instructions
- Wash, peel, and quarter the turnips. (cut the turnip in half then cut those halves in half)
- Put some water into a pot, then boil the turnip quarters for 35 to 45 minutes.
- Place the boiled turnips into a bowl, then use a fork to break them into smaller pieces. Add the milk & butter to the turnips and mix them until they reach the consistency you desire. Add salt & pepper to taste, then serve.
