Step by Step Instructions
- Heat the oil in a saute pan over medium heat, then add the onion & Serrano pepper. Cook for 6 to 7 minutes.
- Add the garlic, salt, paprika, cumin, black pepper, nutmeg, and ground beef. Mix well while it cooks.
- Once the beef has browned, add the butternut squash and stir it into the mix. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cover the pan with a lid. Cook for 10 minutes
- Remove the lid, mix in the fresh sage, then serve.
