Buttermilk Pecan Waffles

Serves: 7 waffles


Ingredients
2 cups Flour
1 tablespoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1/2 teaspoon Salt
4 Eggs
2 cups Buttermilk
1/2 cup Butter
3 tablespoons Chopped pecans
And a good cup of coffee for serving

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set the bowl aside.
  2. Whisk together the buttermilk and eggs, then add the mixture to the dry ingredients, then stir in the butter.
  3. Pour the batter into your waffle maker in 3/4 increments. Sprinkle a handful of pecans and bake the waffles until they are golden brown. Repeat. Enjoy the waffles with a cup of coffee.
