Peppered Beef with Balsamic Strawberry Salsa

<p>The sweet and sour mélange of strawberries and balsamic vinegar makes a delicious companion to the peppery steak. This salsa is also delicious on chicken and pork.</p>

Ingredients
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp cracked peppercorns
1/2 tsp salt
1 clove garlic, minced
1-1/2 lb grilling steak, about 1 inch thick
1-1/2 cup chopped strawberries
3 tbsp red onion
2 tbsp yellow pepper
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp olive oil
1-1/2 tsp granulated sugar
dash salt and pepper

Step by Step Instructions
  1. For the Steak: In small bowl, combine mustard, cracked peppercorns, salt and garlic; rub in even coating on both sides of meat.
  2. Grill steak over high heat or broil for about 4 minutes on each side for medium-rare or until desired doneness.
  3. For the salsa: In a bowl, combine strawberries, onion, yellow pepper, parsley, vinegar, oil, sugar and salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Slice steak thinly across the grain and serve with salsa.
