Turnip "Hash Browns"

<p>Cubed, roasted turnips seasoned with salt, pepper, paprika and garlic. Delicious, lower carb substitute for potatoes.</p>

Serves: Serves 2-3 per bunch
Vegan!

Ingredients
4 medium Turnips
2 TBS bacon Fat, coconut oil or oil of choice
1 tsp sea saalt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 (or more) tsp paprika
1/2 (or more) tsp garlic granules or powder

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375F
  2. Wash turnips, remove leaves and roots. I don't peel them but you can.
  3. Slice, then cube turnips (I use a manual chopper)
  4. Place turnips, oil and all seasonings in bowl and mix well.
  5. Place in roasting pan in single layer and bake about 45 minutes (stir every 15 minutes) until soft but crispy on the outside. Alternately you can fry them.
