Serves: 4 servings

1/2 lb okra
Drizzle of olive oil
Pinch freshly-ground black pepper
Pinch grated Parmesan cheese
Pinch ground cayenne pepper
Juice of 1/4 lemon

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Skewer the okra (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 5-10 minutes first). Drizzle with oil and sprinkle with black pepper. Grill on medium-high heat on each side until the okra's skin is golden-brown. Be sure to cook okra enough that it will be tender. Remove from grill and skewers.
