Roasted or Pan Fried Kohlrabi

Serves: Serves 4 Quick and Easy
Vegan!

Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs Fresh Kohlrabi
One to Two tablespoons Good Olive Oil
Your Taste Salt and Pepper
1 Clove Garlic or Granulated Garlic Powder

Step by Step Instructions
  1. ROASTED: Remove stems slice or dice kohlrabi. You do not need to peel. Set oven to 450F. Toss the diced kohlrabi with olive oil, garlic and salt in a bowl. (The kohlrabi can be tossed with oil and seasonings right on the pan but uses more oil.) Spread evenly on a rimmed baking sheet and put into oven (it needn't be fully preheated) and roast for 30 - 35 minutes, stirring every five minutes after about 20 minutes. You can add the greens at the very end just before serving. Serve immediately.
  2. PAN FRIED: Remove stems slice in tomato slice types or dice kohlrabi. You do not need to peel. Prepare same as above stir fry or fry single slices. You can add the greens at the very end just before serving. Serve immediately.
