Foothills Market:  Almost Closing Time

The Foothills Market will be closing at noon today. Remember the market won’t be open next week, so don’t miss your chance to pick up something fresh and local for Thanksgiving dinner!

Independence,VA:  Thanksgiving is almost upon us!

Good evening!

Be sure to save some money and pre-order your pesticide-free Christmas trees and wreaths on the Online Market (click the “Hoilday Decorations” tab on the left side of the market screen)! *Trees and wreaths not pre-ordered will be 20% more expensive on the day of our Holiday Markets. * This means, you should place your order by Monday night at 8 pm if you plan to pick up a tree at our Nov. 24th Holiday Market and don’t want to pay the higher costs. However you plan to do it, the proceeds go to funding the Independence Farmers Market and we sure do appreciate your support!

You guys, we have some great vendors! It’s NOVEMBER and there is still a variety of produce available to order! Be sure to thank your farmers the next time you see them! Also, check out the “Baked Goods” section and cut down on time by letting our awesome vendors cook for you this year!

To Shop: Independence Farmers Market.

Upcoming Events:

November 24th is our first Holiday Market! Bring all of your friends and family out to Town Park from 11 am – 3 pm to enjoy a fun day of shopping locally. The Kid’s Corner will be open with free activities for the little ones (and the young at heart). Don’t worry about getting too cold, coffee and cider will be available for a donation!

December 2nd will be our second and final Holiday Market of the season. Again, gather up everyone you know and bring them out to Town Park for another fun day of shopping! Parade and Christmas tree lighting to follow!

Thank you all so much for supporting the Independence Farmers Market!

Champaign, OH:  Hey, Hey, Hey!

Ok…your market manager has decided to keep the market open ONE EXTRA HOUR!!

The market will close at 9am, this morning!! It is our last market before Thanksgiving, so give that some thought when placing your orders!!

I am keeping it open, one more hour, due to the fact that we will be closed, next week, AND, some of our customers are returning from being gone, and all accounts needed to be reactivated…

I just want everyone to have time to get their orders in!!

See you at 9am…

XOXO,
Cosmic Pam

Miami County Locally Grown:  Order Before Our ONE WEEK BREAK!!

Last chance to order before our Thanksgiving Break!

What could be simpler than picking up your potatoes, carrots, herbs, TURKEY, ham roast, pies, breads, etc. the Tuesday before Thanksgiving??!! We are here to help with your feasting and festivities!

King’s Poultry still has a few of their non-gmo, pasture-raised turkeys left! Order this week and pick yours up FRESH on Tuesday!

Need the perfect alternative for those non-turkey lovers? Phil Buehler has a Ham Roast with your name on it :-)

Customer pick-up will take place next week, Tue Nov 21st just like normal – but the market WILL NOT REOPEN that night!! We will take a ONE WEEK BREAK for Thanksgiving, and will come back recharged with Christmas gift ideas, sweet treats, new vendors, and new products!!

And MARK YOUR CALENDARS – thanks to First Place and Miami County Public Health, we will hold a Fall Farmer’s Market at First Place on Tue Nov 28th!! With no Virtual Market pick-up that night, come join us for our FIRST EVER traditional market, where you’ll be surprised at all the samples, products, and information from your favorite Virtual Market vendors, plus NEW businesses and local favorites new to the Virtual Market!

Many products to be debuted that night! Ever tried chevron (goat!)? Looking for herdshare information and a source for organic raw milk? Come meet our vendors, learn about their operations firsthand, and enjoy an entire evening dedicated to ALL LOCAL FOOD!

Why not bring the whole family? Invite your friends and neighbors! And feel free to grab some fliers at customer pick-up to help us spread the word :-) Not only will we showcase the incredible assortment of meats, cheeses, eggs, fresh produce, sweeteners, baked goods, and foodstuffs from dozens of vendors, but with everything from wooden kitchen tools and houseplants to custom-roasted coffee and gift sets, they’ll be something for everyone!
