Suwanee Whole Life Co-op: Wilderness Family Naturals Group Order this weekend
This weekend we will be taking pre-orders for Wilderness Family Naturals products! http://www.wildernessfamilynaturals.com/ Our buying club prices are significantly lower than their retail prices and include taxes, shipping and fees.
I’ll be adding some additional products based on member feedback such as Coconut Sap Sugar and additional bulk spices. If there are some items on WFN’s website that you would like to order please email me and I’ll add to the market.
Covenant Family Farms will be on an every 2 weeks schedule until they can get some of the winter items and hoop house crops available. It will probably be about 6 weeks before they go back to listing items weekly. They are working on a variety of salad and braising greens, and other winter crops like beets, carrots, maybe cauliflower, broccoli and brussel sprouts.
The market will open tomorrow (Friday) at 7am.

-We will have at least some Living Farm greens on the market through 12/15
-We will have a small amount of chickens on the market through the winter
-We will be closed the week of Thanksgiving (11/21 delivery) so please make sure you order any ingredients the week before!
-We’ll send out the winter delivery schedule soon but will go down to bi-monthly or monthly markets due to limited produce availability. Please let us know if you have any input or questions!

Spa City Local Farm Market Co-op: Spicy Hot Cocoa

We have B&B Enterprises coming to the market on Saturday to be the Farmer of the Day. Come by and try the many varieties of honey he has for sale. He has a wealth of honey knowledge, you’re sure to leave knowing more than before. :)
New Field Farm's Online Market: last order
PICK-UP for the last order will be NEXT WEDNESDAY 11/14 at the same time and places as usual – both the farm and Union Mill. ORDERS CAN BE PLACED anytime between now and Tuesday 11/13 at 8:00.

There’s not too much to order, but I thought we would have one last go-round.
I can’t do an order this week because the water line to the wash shed is frozen. Next week is supposed to be milder.
We’ve harvested the last of the cabbage, gathered up the remaining onions from their curing racks, and put several layers of row cover over the carrots. Leeks and kale are still out in the field. The deer are starting to nibble on the kale which seems to be one sign that they know what’s coming. They always leave it alone until there’s not much else to choose from on the farm. Or maybe they just prefer it after it’s been through some hard frosts.
Also, the garlic has been planted, cover crops sown, irrigation lines put away, and soon the greenhouse and hoop house will be cleaned out and closed up for the winter. We have a wonderfully large pile of wood chips from the people clearing limbs for PSNH which will get spread as mulch on the blueberries this fall or in the spring.
After everything has been cleaned up and put away – let it snow.
