Greek Lamb Burgers

<p>When I first bought ground lamb, I wasn&#8217;t sure how to cook it, so I went online and found this easy recipe.</p>

Serves: 4

1 lb ground lamb
1 clove minced garlic
1/2 cup chopped parsley
5 leaves mint (opt, but good if available0
1 +1/4 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp cayenne
salt and pepper to taste
1 or 2 Tbsp olive oil

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Mix all above ingredients together thoroughly, then form into 4 patties. Refrigerate covered for a while before cooking.
  2. Grill or broil to desired degree of doneness.
  3. Good accompaniements are: warm pita bread, sliced tomatoes, cucumber and green onions sliced into sour cream or plain yogurt, sliced red onion, Kalamata olives, crumbled feta cheese, avocado diced and sprinkled with lime or lemon juice. You choose.
