Republican Valley Produce:  Almost Christmas time, The market is open.

First of al, I am sorry I didn’t open the market last week. We were busy getting ready to go to a Cattle show in Hutchinson, we left Thursday and got back Sunday night and the thought never crossed my mind. When I noticed that I forgot it was Tuesday when I realized I didn’t have any orders to fill. Sorry.

We will be doing deliveries in Manhattan on Saturday to the winter market if you get your order in by Friday night at 10 pm.

We are a little wet, after 4 inches of rain over the weekend, it is nice to put some moisture back into the ground.

Orders are due by 10 pm on Saturday for delivery in Clay Center or by 10 pm on Friday for delivery to the winter market.

Hope to see you soon.

Jay

Java Genesis Coffee Roasters has listed their famous Holiday Blend is a great morning cup for those that love a smooth yet balanced cup of coffee during the Holiday season. As you celebrate the season with family and friends, nothing will start the conversation better than a great cup of this blend. It is a Colombian based blend with a bit of our Mexican and Ethiopian coffees that has rich, warm undertones. It’s a well balanced, awesome cup of coffee. Holiday Blend makes a great gift and is available for a limited time only. Pick up several bags to share at your holiday gatherings this year! Note: Listed as whole bean or ground. Coffee will be ground for drip brewers. If you would like to have your coffee ground for French Press, Espresso, Keurig or any other brew method, please email me at javagenesis@gmail.com or call 678-773-0932.

Heirloom Gardens even if you’ve already decorated for the season, a wreath from Heirloom Gardens is still a must have. The pine scent and natural beauty of Paula’s wreaths are good to last you through the season (TIP: Mist it weekly and hang not in direct sun). Hang one of her wreaths up and you’ll have neighbors asking about it.

UPDATE CONTACT With all the hustle and bustle of back-to-school and new routines, it’s easy to forget things like picking up your TCH order. Remember that we can’t keep your items past 12pm, and we’ll try contacting you any way we know how to make sure you get what you ordered. Now’s a great time to check the phone number on your account to make sure it’s a number I can reach you at 11:45am on a Saturday. I start calling everyone who hasn’t picked up yet then, and will keep trying to reach you until 12pm, when we have to pack it all up. I hate seeing people’s food go somewhere else, and having a good phone number on your account is the best way to keep that from happening.

Main Market Location and Pick Up
Building 106, Colony Park Dr. in the Basement of Suite 100, Cumming, GA 30040. Pick up every Saturday between 10-12pm.

ALFN Local Food Club:  Market Reminder

Good Morning ALFN Members!

Remember to finalize your orders by noon today! The market is full of beautiful products, and during this time of season, gifts! Honey, lotions, herbs, teas, coffees, and fruit are wonderful stocking stuffers! There are seasonal cheeses and festive veggies as well. Have y’all seen the new beautiful quilts made by Bluebird Hill Berry Farm?

Santa Claus ain’t a local, but I know he can’t source some gifts from the north pole. I’m sure he is hoping for more local producers and distributors. This year put some overalls on Santa and gift your friends and family with goodies from our region.

See you at the market!
