Champaign, OH:  Auld Lang Syne

Should auld acquaintance be forgot…
And never brought to mind…
Should auld acquaintance be forgot…
And auld lang syne…

For auld lang syne, my dear…
For auld lang syne…
We’ll tak’ a cup o’ kindness yet…
For auld lang syne…
For auld lang syne…

And, just like that, we are on the cusp of yet another year. Another leap into the unknown. A chance to look at the year that is about to fade away. A chance to look hopeful in the eyes as we wave hello to 2016.

Each New Year’s Eve day, I spend reflecting. I am a firm believer in making peace with the good and the bad, the happy and the sad, of each year ready to pass, before I can allow myself to set sail into the new year to come.

This past year found me in a new beginning, the minute I rang in 2015. It found me moving to my shop front, it found me with an exploding Cosmic business, it found me exploring new paths, greeting exciting opportunities, giving love, and watching milestones happen. It also took one of my dearest friends from me, suddenly, and without warning. I miss her to my very core. She was my voice of reason, my sounding board, my confidant, my heart. This past holiday found me missing her, and mending the empty place that remains in my heart, since she passed on. The good, the sad, the reconciling of it all.

As I open the market, today, I would like to welcome back our customers, our vendors, the staff of the YMCA, my assistant managers, the Cosmic Bread Heads, all who support this little local market of love.

As we look back, and as we look ahead, we march on in pride, in love, and in hopes that you continue to be a part of this market family, as we watch the unfolding of 2016.

You mean the world to us…much love to you in this new year, and we look forward to seeing you all, next Thursday, at the first market order pick up of 2016!

The good, the bad, the happy, the sad…it’s all there, in each year…

We’ll tak’ a cup o’ kindness yet…
For auld lang syne…
For auld lang syne…

Peace, Love, Good Vibes…
Cosmic Pam

UPDATE CONTACT With all the hustle and bustle of back-to-school and new routines, it’s easy to forget things like picking up your TCH order. Remember that we can’t keep your items past 12pm, and we’ll try contacting you any way we know how to make sure you get what you ordered. Now’s a great time to check the phone number on your account to make sure it’s a number I can reach you at 11:45am on a Saturday. I start calling everyone who hasn’t picked up yet then, and will keep trying to reach you until 12pm, when we have to pack it all up. I hate seeing people’s food go somewhere else, and having a good phone number on your account is the best way to keep that from happening.

Main Market Location and Pick Up
Building 106, Colony Park Dr. in the Basement of Suite 100, Cumming, GA 30040. Pick up every Saturday between 10-12pm.

McColloms Market:  FFFN 2016 Schedule

Hi All:

Here’s the schedule for the coming year:

Order Opens (Fridays) – Pick Up Day (Wednesdays)

January 8, 2016 – January 13, 2016

February 5, 2016 – February 10, 2016

March 4, 2016 – March 9, 2016

April 1, 2016 – April 6, 2016

May – September – On Hiatus

October 7, 2016 – October 12, 2016

November 4, 2019 – November 9, 2016

December 9, 2016 – December 14, 2016

In keeping with the original concept of FFFN (ensuring access to locally produced products during the winter months), I have shortened the number of months this coming year so as not to overlap with the various outdoor Farmers Markets in the Region. In recognition of the change, I’ve also dropped the Annual Membership Fee, which is due in January, from $38 to $30.

I hope this makes sense.

Happy New Year! See you in 2016.

Cheers,

Melinda

The Wednesday Market:  PICK UP AT THE BOOKSTORE TOMORROW!

Dear Customers and Farmers,

Due to the tremendous amount of rain that has fallen in the past few days, our parking lot at The Wednesday Market is impassable.

For tomorrow only, pick up your orders at the back door of A Novel Experience, the bookstore on the west side of the Square in Zebulon. There is plenty of parking in the newly paved lot near The Chamber of Commerce, and the alleyway behind the bookstore is also paved. No muddy feet for anyone!

Please plan to pick up between 3 and 5 p.m., as the bookstore has special activities planned for 6 p.m.

Hopefully, by next week, things will have dried out and maybe we’ll even have a new batch of gravel placed on the yard at The Wednesday Market.

We’ll see you tomorrow AT THE BOOKSTORE.

Thanks,

Beverly
