DeForest, WI:  Availability for the week of July 3

Hope Every one had a safe and Happy 4th of July.

Please note that several items are listed at “0” that is because we may have some but we may not have some. Please add to the comment area any items you are interested in and we will pack them if available.

Items listed at “0” include some of the berries. Other items possible, but not listed would include green beans. Forest Run Farm has spotted a yellow and red cherry tomato, so hoping the warm weather we’ll be getting will nudge them along as well.

The Market is open!

Champaign, OH:  Happy 5th Day of July!!

Hey, now…the weekend is over, it’s still a bit of a jolt to go back to the reality of it all, and, it’s even harder to remember that it’s a Tuesday, since the holiday fell on a Monday!

BUT…the market would like to remind you that we close, this evening, at 10pm!!

Get back into the groove by making your lists, placing your orders, and going back to enjoy your week!! It’s that simple!!

AND…Champaign Berry Farms has added black raspberries!!!

However, we do have a few growers on vacation status!! Not to worry!! They are tending to their fields and gardens, and needed the time to get it all done!! They will be back!!

The time is now!! Think about all that you need, want, or desire from this market…

Peace, Love, Grooviness…

Princeton Farm Fresh:  The Market is Open

Hello Everyone!
Hope you all had a wonderful Fourth of July despite the rain.
We apologize for the market being opened a day late. On the farm, we were enjoying a quiet rainy Independence Day.
Today, I am going to share with you one our favorite summer recipes that combines simply, to make a delicious salad!

Caprese Salad
3 Vine ripened tomatoes, 1/4 in thick slice
2 medium cucumbers, 1/4 in thick slices
1 lb fresh mozzarella, 1/4 in thick slices
1 bunch of basil leaves (we love our sweet Thai basil)
Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling
Balsamic vinegar, for drizzling
Salt and Pepper
Chop tomato, cucumbers, mozzarella, and basil into a bowl. Drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the top to taste and finish by sprinkling salt and pepper over the top. Viola, a delightfully cooling summer salad!

You can also check out this recipe by Rachel Ray and just add cucumbers and balsalmic vinegar.
