Stewed Heirloom Tomatoes and Okra

Serves: as many of a s few as you like


Ingredients
1 to 2 lbs heirloom tomatoes
1 to 1 1/2 lbs okra
1 or 2 cloves fresh garlic
2 or 3 each fresh chili peppers
1 tea spoon sugar
salt and pepper tt as much or as little as you like

Step by Step Instructions
  1. in a sauce pot add cut heirloom tomatoes, onions, garlic, peppers, sugar, salt and peppe
  2. cook down the tomatoes till they are they are mush
  3. allow sause to thicken some, I like to cook the tomato mix for atleast 30 minuets to cook out the water
  4. add the okra and simmer for 30 minuets or more. If you cook to long the okra will get mushy.
